Product safety first
Product safety is critical to our operation. Brown Brothers' certification recognises our products' traceability and diligence in production, for quality and consistency every time.

Approved suppliers, audited
We keep an approved supplier list. New suppliers go through due diligence, including site audits and a self-assessment questionnaire, and existing suppliers are reviewed regularly.

Supply chain mapping and SEDEX
We map our supply chain for product and geographical risks, and ask suppliers to be on SEDEX, where their labour standards and compliance can be checked.

Trained people
We're a fully accredited training centre for Food Hygiene, SVQs and CPC, with our own trained internal verifiers.

To confirm with Browns: These marks appear on the brands' own websites, but none appear on the group site, and we haven't seen certificates. Please send the current certificate and grade for each site (BRCGS, Red Tractor, RSPCA Assured, SALSA, MSC, organic, halal or any other), and we'll publish only those.
